CliqTerms of Use
Cliq's terms of use. The service is provided by Piksel Bayt Teknoloji Limited Şirketi ("Cliq", "we"); contact [email protected], KEP [email protected]. By using the app, you accept these terms.
Purpose and health warning:# Cliq provides information for choosing cosmetic products and for care. It does not assess a health condition, make a diagnosis or recommend treatment. Product results, photo analysis, aggregate usage statistics, alternatives, face yoga and assistant content are for information; they are not medical advice. Cliq is not for emergencies: in an emergency, go to the nearest healthcare facility immediately. If you suspect poisoning, you can call the National Poison Information Center (114).
How assessments are produced:# A product's compatibility with you and its compatibility score are calculated with Cliq's rules and the product's ingredient list; AI reads the ingredients on the label and writes the assistant's responses. Readings and responses may be wrong; the information on the product packaging and your doctor's opinion prevail. If you think a result is wrong, you can report it with "Object to this result" on the result screen.
Artificial intelligence:# The assistant, written and voice, is AI and says so. Try-on and share images are edited with AI and carry an "Edited with AI" label; how the product will actually look may vary with light, skin and application.
Account and sign-in:# You sign in with your Apple or Google account or with a code sent to your email address; if you do not have an account, one is opened. You accept that the email you enter belongs to you and that you will not share the sign-in code with anyone; Cliq will never ask you for the code. Your account stays open on only one device at a time; when a sign-in is made from another device, the session on the previous device is closed. If your email address changes, you should update it in Profile › Account details.
Deleting your account:# You can delete your account in Profile › Privacy & data; you can change your mind within 14 days of your request. If you do not sign in for 24 months, we will notify you; if you do not sign in within 30 days of that notice, your account is deleted. Details are in the privacy notice.
Missing product and error reports:# You can report to us a product that is not in the catalog or incorrect information. We may use the product information in the report (non-personal information such as name, brand, ingredients) to correct the catalog. Label photos you take for analysis are used only in your analysis; they are not published in the catalog and are deleted when your account is deleted.
Product information and brands:# Product claims are shown as written on the packaging and with their source ("Stated on the packaging"); Cliq does not verify them separately. A product being notified to ÜTS (the Product Tracking System) does not mean it is approved. Brand names and product images are used to identify the product; they do not imply cooperation or endorsement. Rights holders can request removal via [email protected].
Advertising and affiliate partnerships:# Sponsored content and paid listings are shown with an "Ad" label, separately from editorial content. Products selected for you, rankings, scores and alternative results are not affected by advertising; an ad for a product that is not suitable for you is not shown to you. If you shop through a purchase link, Cliq may receive a commission; this is stated next to the link and does not affect rankings.
Prices:# The prices and unit prices shown are averages for information purposes; they are not an offer of sale.
Challenges and streaks:# These are for motivation; they do not promise a reward or a health outcome.
Personal data:# How your personal data is processed is set out in the privacy notice, and processing based on explicit consent is set out in the explicit consent texts. Your explicit consent is requested separately in the app, with its own text, when you first use the relevant feature. These terms do not replace consent for processing personal data.
Child profile:# A child profile (age 0–15) may only be opened by the child's parent or guardian. The person who opens the profile declares that they are over 18 and that they are the child's parent or guardian; they are responsible for the information they enter in the profile, the photos they take and the consents they give on behalf of the child.
Co-parent:# The owner of a child profile may only invite the other parent or guardian to the profile. The invited parent sees and edits the profile with the same rights as the owner; after making the same parent declaration, they can give consent on behalf of the child. Only the owner can delete the profile and send invitations. Each record shows who wrote it.
Voice assistant:# The voice assistant goes through the same safety checks as the written assistant; items 1–3 also apply to spoken responses.
Prohibited use:# You use Cliq only for your personal care and in accordance with these terms. The following are prohibited:
- attempting to use the assistant or any other feature outside its purpose, to bypass safety checks, or to obtain its internal instructions or other users' data;
- attacking, overloading or sending harmful content to the app, our servers or our service providers, or carrying out unauthorized security testing;
- collecting content, product data or analyses with automated tools (bots, scripts, scrapers), or reverse engineering or copying the service;
- using someone else's account or identity, or opening a fake account;
- sharing unlawful or misleading content or content that infringes the rights of others.
If you find a security vulnerability, report it to [email protected]; we do not take legal action over good-faith reports.
Measures against misuse:# If prohibited use is suspected, we may temporarily turn off the relevant feature (e.g. the assistant for 1 hour). Repeated or serious violations are reviewed by our team; at the end of the review, we may turn off the feature for a fixed period or indefinitely, or suspend or close the account. The decision is communicated to you with its reasons; you can appeal through support. In serious violations, in unlawful use or where it is necessary to protect third parties, we may take immediate action without prior notice. We reserve the right to take legal action against unlawful acts.
Intellectual property and all rights reserved:# The app, software, design, mascot, illustrations, sounds, texts, rule and knowledge base, product assessments, database and the "Cliq" trademark belong to Piksel Bayt Teknoloji Limited Şirketi or its licensors; all rights reserved. You are granted only a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive and revocable right to use the app for personal and non-commercial purposes. Copying, republishing or commercially using product results, content or data in bulk requires written permission.
Your content:# Your photos, notes and answers belong to you. We process them only to provide the service to you and for the purposes in the privacy notice; item 6 applies to missing product and error reports.
Continuity of the service and changes:# We may add, change or remove features to improve Cliq. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free; there may be interruptions due to maintenance, security or service providers. If we discontinue the service entirely, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance and enable you to obtain a copy of your data.
Limitation of liability:# Cliq provides information; choosing and using products is your decision. We are not liable for damages arising from your failure to follow the instructions on the packaging and your doctor's opinion, from the products themselves or from the actions of third parties (sellers, brands, linked sites). Liability for intent and gross negligence and liabilities that the law does not allow to be limited are reserved (Turkish Code of Obligations Art. 115).
Third-party services and links:# Purchase links and sponsored content may take you to third-party sites; the relevant seller is responsible for sales, delivery and returns on those sites.
Changes to the terms:# We may update these terms. We will notify you in the app of significant changes at least 15 days before they take effect; changes required by law or for security may take effect immediately. If you do not accept a change, you can delete your account; continuing to use the app after the effective date means that you accept the new terms. Previous versions and the dates of changes can be viewed in the app.
Assignment:# We may transfer the service and our rights under these terms to our successor in cases such as a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets; your personal data continues to be protected in accordance with the privacy notice.
Severability:# If a provision is held invalid, the other provisions are not affected.
Governing law and disputes:# These terms are governed by Turkish law. In consumer disputes, consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts have jurisdiction according to the monetary limits in Law No. 6502; these rights of yours are not restricted.
Language:# Turkish and English versions of the terms are published; in case of conflict, the Turkish text prevails.
